Job Specification ? Operations Manager
Overview:
The chosen candidate will have full responsibility for all operational activities like receiving / inventory management / warehousing and transportation of one of our largest accounts. This position will interact closely with multiple functions and Countries across the GeoLogistics business and report directly to the Logistics Manager.
Key Requirements:
· 3 ? 5 Years of experience in a Logistics environment
· Development of service offering to meet Customer requirements.
· Take full accountability for Profit and Loss
· Development of proactive customer service skills and attitudes in GeoLogistics operational employees
· Flexibility to meet changing service requirements
· Customer relationship management as a senior level
· Representation of customer requirements to GeoLogistics senior management
· Work with IT to establish key technology development requirements
Required Skills for Position:
· Ability to train operators on new processes and procedures.
· Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
· Ability to focus on process; problem-solving skills.
· Ability to understand the impact of issues across business functions.
· Strong communications skills; ability to communicate to multiple levels of GeoLogistics and customer organizations.
· Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English.
· Strong organizational skills; ability to focus discussions on key ideas and concepts
